Garage Fire in Grand Lake Township
On 3/3/2025 at approximately 8:30 PM Deputies were dispatched to the 5900 Block of Old Miller Trunk Hwy for the report of a detached garage on fire. The cause of the fire was likely a diesel heater that had been running earlier in the evening. No one was in the garage at the time of the fire and no foul play is suspected. The garage and contents were a total loss.
The following agencies responded to the scene: Grand Lake Fire, Canosia Fire, Hermantown Fire, Solway Fire, Air Guard Fire and the St. Louis County Rescue Squad.
