Female injured in snowmobile accident

On February 15, 2025 at approximately 1259 hours, area first responders and law enforcement were dispatched to the report of a snowmobile accident on the Arrowhead trail located north of Orr, Minnesota.

It was learned that a 62-year-old, female from Shoreview, MN had been severely injured after the snowmobile she was driving struck a tree.

The female, who was the only occupant of the snowmachine, was transported from the scene by Orr EMS to an awaiting medical helicopter which flew her to a Twin Cities hospital for advanced care.

It is believed that the female suffered serious non-life-threatening injuries.
