1 vehicle crash with injuries
On November 3rd, 2024 around 11:40 A.M., the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to the 5900 Block of Crane Lake Road in Portage Township for the report of a 1 vehicle rollover. The sole occupant, a 55 year old male from Crane Lake, was reported trapped inside the vehicle.
A passer by located the vehicle rolled over in the West ditch. There were no witnesses to the car crash. St. Louis County Deputy and medical personnel responded to the scene to assist. The lone occupant was extricated from the vehicle and transported by Air Medical for serious, but not life threatening injuries.
The name of the driver is being withheld pending notification to family.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Buyck First Responders, Buyck Fire Department, Border Patrol Agents, Orr Ambulance, Orr Fire Department, and Life Link.
