Missing Person
On 10/13/2024 around 2200 hrs., the Fond Du Lac Police Department (FDLPD) received a report of a missing person in the Brookston area. A family member of NORI JEAN PRIBBLE, 51 years old, reported that PRIBBLE had not been heard from since that morning.
On 10/16/2024, FDLPD requested the assistance of the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office (SLCSO) and St. Louis County Rescue Squad (SLCRS). SLCRS conducted aerial drone and ground searches in the vicinity of Brookston without success.
Investigators conducted multiple interviews and determined PRIBBLE was last seen in the area of Hwy 31 and McCamus Rd on 10/12/2024 around 1800 hrs. PRIBBLE was last seen wearing a multi-colored dress and a navy blue shawl. She is a white female, height 5’ 3”, weight 200 lbs with brown eyes and black hair. PRIBBLE was on foot when last seen.
Investigators further determined PRIBBLE may have been in the area of Hwy 31 and Hwy 2 on 10/13/2024 around 0200 hrs.
The FDLPD is requesting the public’s assistance with any information on PRIBBLE’s whereabouts. At this time, there is no foul play suspected in PRIBBLE’s disappearance.

**** UPDATE****
On 10-17-2024 at approximately 1408 hours the missing party, Nori Pribble, was found deceased by the St. Louis County Rescue Squad members during search efforts. Pribble was located in a wooded area off of logging road just south of the 8800 block of McCamus Road in Brookston. The incident remains under investigation by the Fondulac Police Department and the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office. Cause of death is pending medical examiners findings. At this point in the investigation Pribble's death is not believed to have been a result of foul play. Family members have been notified.
