Male struck by vehicle
On September 5, 2024, at approximately 1647hrs first responders and law enforcement were dispatched to the 5300 block of Hwy 25, just south of the city of Kinney, after a male was found lying in the ditch.
Upon arrival of emergency services, a 26-year-old male was located and determined to have been struck by a vehicle which had fled the scene.
The victim was air lifted to a Duluth hospital with serious injuries.
This incident remains under investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and Minnesota State Patrol.
