Daytime closure announced for Highland Street in West Duluth

Highland Street in West Duluth will be temporarily closed between 59th and 62nd Avenue West during daytime hours on August 14-15. The closure is necessary as CN Railroad will be conducting a routine inspection of the Highland Street bridge.

Detour signs will be posted directing traffic to use Olney Street as an alternative. The closure will only be in effect during the day while crews are working. The road will re-open in the evenings. Large vehicles are encouraged to use an alternate detour route of Vinland Street, Boundary Avenue, Highway 2, I-35, Cody Street and 59th Avenue West.
