On April 1, 2024, 3 individuals, Jennifer Schostag (Anoka), Michael Peterson (Hibbing) and David Hoskins (Sandstone) were arraigned in St. Louis County District Court (Hibbing) for various 1^st degree sale/possession charges for methamphetamine/cocaine.

The charges stem from an investigation conducted by members of the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force. On March 28, 2024, multiple search warrants were executed in the City of Hibbing on vehicles and a residence.

Multiple pounds of methamphetamine were located during the execution of the search warrants as well as cocaine. A 4^th individual was initially arrested and released pending the same charges.
