House Fire in the City of Rice Lake
On 3/16/2024 shortly after 6:00 pm, a resident of the 4300 block of W. Calvary Rd. reported smoke coming up from the basement of the house. The resident was the only person in the house and was in the process of removing pets. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, the Rice Lake Fire Department, the Canosia Fire Department, Air National Guard Fire and Mayo Clinic Ambulance all responded to the scene. The fire was extinguished by 6:30 pm. The resident was not injured, and the fire was not suspicious in nature.
