Public meeting set to discuss future reconstruction of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 100 in Aurora

St. Louis County Public Works staff will host a public meeting to listen to community input in preparation for the reconstruction of a nearly two-mile stretch of County State Aid Highway (CSAH) 100 in Aurora. The meeting will be Tuesday, March 19, beginning at 6 p.m. at the Aurora Community Center, 15 West 1st Avenue North. The meeting also will be available to view virtually.

The project will cover an L-shaped segment of CSAH 100, which is also known as 3rd Avenue North and Main Street, from approximately a quarter mile east of Highway 135 to Highway 110. St. Louis County and the City of Aurora are partnering on the project, which is scheduled for 2026. Using funding from the State, the City of Aurora will be replacing utilities, while the County reconstructs the road.

In preparation for this work, county engineers are leading a corridor study to develop the preferred layout. This includes evaluating options for the intersection of Main Street and 3rd Avenue North in downtown Aurora.
