Murder Suspect Arrested on Multiple Warrants
On 02/07/2024 at approximately 4:00 PM, members of the Lake Superior Violent Offender Task Force (LSVOTF) arrested 41-year-old Justin Dean Stauffer near the 200 block of Commonwealth Avenue in Duluth. Stauffer was known to have an active warrant(s) for 3rd Degree Murder, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, and Drug Possession. Stauffer currently has 18 open cases in St. Louis County.
Stauffer was uncooperative upon initial contact with officers, however members of the LSVOTF were able to detain Stauffer without incident. Stauffer was booked into the St. Louis County Jail on his warrants.
