Ceremony to recognize new Corrections Officers, 911 Emergency Communications, other staff
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office will host a ceremony to swear in new corrections officers and recognize new 911 Emergency Communications Specialists, Court Security and other staff, as well as recently promoted employees within these divisions. The event will be Wednesday, January 31, at 3 p.m. at the Public Safety Building, 2030 Arlington Avenue, Duluth.
A total of 24 new Corrections Officers have joined the team at the St. Louis County Jail in the last 13 months. Meanwhile, 10 new Emergency Communications Specialists have started at 911 in the last year, along with three Bailiffs and seven others in various support roles. They along with five others who've been promoted in the last year will be recognized during the ceremony.
The St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office is made up of eight divisions, including Sheriff, Boat and Water Safety, Homeland Security/Emergency Management, Rescue Squad, Law Enforcement Services, Emergency Communications, Radio Maintenance and Jail.
