Male and ATV break through ice on Boulder Dam Reservoir
On 12/18/2023 at approximately 6:53 AM the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office was dispatched to a water emergency on Boulder Lake Reservoir.
An adult male from Saginaw, MN broke through the ice while riding his ATV. The male was able to get out of the water by himself. The ATV was recovered with assistance from the Gnesen Fire Department and the St. Louis County Rescue Squad.
Due to the warm weather, the Sheriff’s Office would like to remind citizens to be extremely cautious on the ice.
