Structure Fire in Grand Lake Township
On 12/11/2023 at approximately 8PM St. Louis County Deputies and numerous fire departments were dispatched to the 5900 block of Sunny Ln in Grand Lake Township for a house on fire.
The fire is believed to have been caused by a space heater in a bathroom. The house is a total loss due to fire, water and smoke damage.
Unfortunately, one dog perished in the fire.
No foul play is suspected.
The following fire departments responded to the scene: Grand Lake, Canosia, Hermantown, Solway and Air Guard.
