Culver man dies in accident
On October 29, 2023 at approximately 0855 hours, area first responders were dispatched the report of a vehicle flipped over in a water-filled ditch on Highway 7 south of Highway 133 in Meadowlands Township.
After arriving on scene first responders located a male, who was the only occupant of the vehicle, deceased inside the vehicle. The male was later identified as 25-year-old, Zachary Nicholas Johnson from Culver, Minnesota.
This incident remains under investigation by the Midwest Medical Examiner’s Office and St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
Assisting agencies included: Meadowlands Fire and EMS, Alborn Fire and the Minnesota State Patrol.
