Incident Summary:

On October 24th, 2023 at approximately 10:53 P.M. Saint Louis County Sheriff's deputies responded to a vehicle vs electric bicycle (E-Bike) crash that occurred in the 4100 block of Hwy 100 in White Township approximately 5 miles South of Aurora, Mn. 

Theodore PEMBLE was driving northbound on Hwy 100 in a Ford Taurus when he collided with an E-Bike that was also traveling northbound on Hwy 100. 

The E-Bike rider Frank VANDEHEY was transported by the Hoyt Lakes Ambulance to the Essentia Health-Northern Pines Hospital in Aurora with serious injuries.  

Assisting agencies:

East Range Police Department, Minnesota State Patrol, and Palo First Responders.
