Incident Summary: On Oct 16, 2023 members of the LSVOTF assisted agents from the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and US Postal Inspectors Office with a narcotics investigation. During the incident, LSVOTF K9 Murphy conducted a sniff of a suspicious package and indicated the presence of narcotics. A search warrant of the package revealed approximately 5lbs of methamphetamine. Two individuals were taken into custody.
