Esko man injured in ATV accident
On October 15, 2023 at 0041 hours, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, was dispatched to the 6800 block of Highway 47 in Alborn Township for a report of a single side-by-side accident where it was reported 49-year-old male Daniel James Doran, of Esko, had received significant, nonlife threatening injuries.
Doran was treated by first responders on scene and ultimately flown by Likelink to Essentia Health Duluth to be treated for his injuries. There were no other vehicles or people involved in the crash and it appears speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office was assisted by the Alborn Fire Department, St. Louis County Rescue Squad, Meadowlands Ambulance and Lifelink Medical Air Service.
