Highway 5 re-opens near Side Lake

St. Louis County Public Works has re-opened Highway 5 south of Side Lake. The road had to be closed Monday after a culvert failed causing a partial washout. Public Works crews were able to complete repairs late this afternoon to patch and re-open the road. Re-paving the damaged area will take place at a later date still to be scheduled.
