Incident Summary: 

On 04/01/2023 at 1204 hours, deputies responded to a snowmobile crash on the Brimson Trail near Pequaywan Lake (2 miles south of Moose Lake Road).  28-year-old, Nicholas Feela, of Chisago City, MN. was traveling on the Brimson Trail and attempting to negotiate a curve.  The slippery conditions on the trail caused Feela to lose control of his snowmobile and side swipe a tree.  Feela received a left leg injury.  SLCO Rescue Squad, Pequaywan Fire, Brimson Fire, North Star fire, Mayo Ambulance, and Life Link all assisted with his medical care.  Feela was transported by Mayo Ambulance to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
