Canosia Township Structure Fire

On December 30th, 2022 at approximately 5:40PM St. Louis County Sheriff's Deputies were dispatched to the 5700 block of N Pike Lake Rd in Canosia Township for the report of a house fire. Upon arrival smoke was coming out of a single-family residence. The house had significant damage, but was not a total loss. According to Canosia Fire Dept it appeared the fire possibly started due to a malfunctioning surge protector. Foul play is not suspected and there was no loss of life or injury.
The following departments responded to assist: St. Louis County Rescue Squad, Canosia Fire, Fredenberg Fire, Air Guard Fire, Grand Lake Fire, Hermantown Fire and Solway Fire
