Glenwood Street roundabout almost complete; intersection to open Saturday

Construction of a roundabout at the intersection of Glenwood Street and Snively Road in Duluth is just about complete. The new intersection is expected to open Saturday by no later than 5 p.m.

Meanwhile, work will continue on an adjoining road reconstruction project. Lane closures will continue on Woodland Avenue between Arrowhead and Snively through October 22. As always, motorists are reminded to slow down and stay alert when traveling through or near a construction zone.

Both projects have been joint efforts involving St. Louis County and the City of Duluth, aimed at improving public safety and traffic flow.

The new roundabout on Glenwood Road is nearing completion and is expected to open to the public on Saturday.
