Incident Summary:
At approximately 11:40 on October 7, 2022 staff at the Northeast Regional Correctional Center (NERCC) called 911 to report Christopher Orr was unaccounted for. He was last seen on the facility grounds approximately one hour earlier. He had likely left the facility on foot. Orr was last seen wearing an orange hat, blue denim jacket, and black pants. Orr has brown hair down to the jawline. He is from the state of Indiana and has no known local ties. He was in NERCC for second-degree assault.
Initial attempts to locate Orr have been unsuccessful. The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office is investigating possible associates and other leads in order to recapture Orr.
Anyone with information, on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
