Railroad crossing work to temporarily close Independence Road north of Hwy 2

The CN Railroad will be conducting maintenance work at the railroad crossing on 

Independence Road (County Road 874), located 1.5 miles north of US Highway 2 in Industrial Township. Independence Road will be closed to traffic at this crossing beginning Monday, July 25. Work is expected to be complete and the road reopened by Friday, July 29.

 

Motorists are reminded to slow down and use caution any time they are traveling in or near work zones.
