Incident Summary:
On March 30, 2022 at approximately 12:35 AM, the St. Louis Co Sheriff's Office responded to a report of a fight, involving multiple individuals, at the Sawmill Saloon in Mt. Iron. Upon arrival, it was determined 2 of the individuals involved in the altercation had been stabbed. The individuals were transported by ambulance to the Virginia Regional Medical Center where they were treated and released with non-life threatening injuries. The names of the individuals involved are being withheld at this time as the investigation is on-going.

On 03-30-2022, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office conducted follow-up investigation regarding this incident as some involved parties fled the bar before law enforcement arrived. At approximately 9:30 AM, Aiden J. Deegan was arrested at his residence in Virginia in connection to this investigation and he was booked into the Virginia Jail on charges of 2nd degree Assault. A subsequent search warrant was executed at the residence and items associated with the crime were located and seized. Formal charges are pending by the St. Louis County Attorney's Office in Virginia. The names of the victims are being withheld in this matter.
