At approximately 1706 hours, area first responders and law enforcement were dispatch to the report of a single vehicle personal injury accident involving a snowmobile located in Morse Township near Winton.

Upon the arrival of emergency resources on scene, it was determined that a female snowmobile driver, later identified as Kristin Johnson, who was the only occupant on the snowmobile, had left the designated snowmobile trail that she had been traveling on for an undetermined reason and struck a marked utility pole guidewire causing her to be ejected from the snowmobile.
