Incident Summary: On 8/25/2021 at approximately 2:22 PM,  the St Louis Co Sheriff's Office received a report of a lost hiker near Little Johnson Lake in the Kabetogama State Forest. Justin Wirth reported he was lost near Little Johnson Lake after attempting to hike from the Crane Lake Visitors Center to the Ash Lake Visitor's Center. The St. Louis Co Rescue Squad was utilized to locate/rescue Wirth and after an exhaustive effort, learned Wirth had made it out of the woods and was safe.
