Incident Summary: On 5/01/2021 at around noon, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office along with multiple other fire departments and agencies responded to the area of Hill Road and Haavisto Road in Sandy Township for a large grass fire.  Deputies worked to evacuate the 7700-7900 block of Hill Road and Haavisto Road due to a large grass fire and dangerous fire conditions at the time.  Approximately 25 acres have burned but no structures have been damaged.  Fire crews continue to fight the fire at this time but fire crews have made gains in fighting the fire and there is no longer a need to evacuate.
