Incident Summary: On 5/01/2021 the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, the St. Louis County Rescue Squad and area EMS responded to an ATV crash near Kinney in Great Scott Township.  Koivisto was at the end of a group of ATV riders when he hit a rut in the off road trail and lost control of his ATV.  His ATV rolled and he was thrown from it, suffering a severe leg injury.  Koivisto was alone on his ATV.  He was transported by Virginia Ambulance to the Virginia Hospital with the leg injury.  The incident remains under investigation at this time.
