Incident Summary: 

At approximately 1:20 this afternoon, St. Louis County Sheriff's Deputies responded to a single vehicle rollover on Rice Lake Road, near the West Turner Road. Upon arrival, deputies found a single vehicle overturned in the ditch and the driver, Turner, was being treated by first responders for minor injuries.  Turner was later transported by Mayo Ambulance to Essentia St. Mary's in Duluth for non-life threatening injuries.

Slippery road conditions are believed to be the contributing factor in the accident.  Rice Lake Road was shut down for approximately 15 minutes in order to remove the vehicle from the ditch safely.

Also responding to the scene were Gnesen Fire Department, the St. Louis County Rescue Squad, and Mayo Ambulance.
