Incident Summary: 

In compliance with MN Statutes, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office would like to notify the public about the release of a level three predatory offender. 

Richard James Gibson will be moving into Cherry Township on January 14, 2021. He is a level three offender.

Upon his release he will be supervised by Arrowhead Regional Corrections agents. 

Those offenders who are designated as Level Three, are subject to community notification upon changing addresses.

Cherry Township residents and community members who have any questions, or would like to discuss this matter further are asked to call Lt. Jason Akerson 218-262-0208.
