ATVs break through ice on Fish Lake

Incident location: Fish Lake Reservoir

Incident Summary: On 12/7/2020 at approx. 4:45PM St. Louis County Sheriff's Office took a report of two ATVs that broke through the ice on Fish Lake Reservoir. The two juvenile riders were able to make it back to shore safely.

Additional Information or Update: The Sheriff's Office would like to remind people to check ice thickness prior to navigating the frozen water. Reminder 4+inches of ice for walking, 5+inches for a snowmobile/ATV, 8-12+inches for a car or small pickup and 12-15+inches for a medium sized truck.
