Incident Summary: On 11-07-2020, at approximately 11:59 A.M., the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office along with assistance from the St. Louis County Rescue Squad, East Range Police Department, Eveleth Police Department, MN DNR, and Hoyt Lakes Ambulance Service responded to the 4500 block of Lane 51 in rural Aurora, MN (Palo) in White Township for the report of a missing 82 year old female with dementia. Her husband called 911 reporting that she had left the house on foot and was missing for over an hour. The residence and immediate area was searched using a Police K-9 and St. Louis County drones. At approximately 1:39 P.M., the female walked out of the woods on a trail across from her residence. The female was checked by the Hoyt Lakes Ambulance Service and was found that no medical treatment was required. She was reunited with her husband.
