Incident Summary:  On August 22nd, 2020 at approximately 6:47 P.M. Saint Louis County Sheriff's deputies responded to an ATV crash that occurred on the Pulkinen road approximately 10 miles northwest of Babbitt.  53 year old Ward MEYER was traveling northbound on the Pulkinen road when his ATV went off of the roadway into the ditch and struck a tree. MEYER was transported by the Babbitt ambulance to the Essentia Health-Virginia hospital and then transported to a Duluth area hospital in critical condition.
