Incident Summary: On 7/19/2020 at around 2:30 PM, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and Rescue Squad along with Morse Fire, responded to a water emergency on White Iron Lake in Morse Township.  A 14 foot boat with 5 people in it capsized.  All 5 people were wearing life jackets and were able to swim to a nearby island where they were rescued and brought to shore.  No one was injured.  Gusty winds contributed to the incident.

The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office reminds the public to always wear life jackets and be prudent in deciding whether to venture out into the water in arduous conditions.
