Incident Summary:
On 5/16/2020, at approx. 2:40 PM St. Louis County Deputies responded to a residence in the 4700 block of Pine Dr. in the City of Orr to attempt to take Jeremy Morris into custody for an active outstanding felony warrant for his arrest. Morris was located outside of the residence and arrested on the outstanding warrant. The incident led to Deputies applying for and eventually executing a search warrant on a vehicle owned by Morris, which led to the recovery of a substantial amount of methamphetamines (approximately 109 grams) and a pistol.
On 05/19/2020, Morris was formally charged in St. Louis County 6th District in Hibbing with two additional felony counts of 1st Degree Possession of Methamphetamines with Intent to Sell and 1st Degree Possession of Methamphetamines and possess Firearm. Morris remains in custody at the St. Louis County Jail at this time. Morris's bail has been set at $75,000.
