St. Louis County Board to hold emergency meeting Monday at 8:30 a.m.

St. Louis County Board Chair Mike Jugovich has called an emergency meeting of the County Board tomorrow, Monday, March 23, at 8:30 a.m.The Board will consider a resolution transferring the $1 million set aside in the Emergency Administration Fund to support COVID-19 response efforts. Additionally, commissioners will be voting to authorize County Administration to implement a staffing plan that allows more employees to work remotely or remain outside the work place while still ensuring a continuity of mandated and mission critical services.

 

The meeting will be held in the County Board conference room on the second floor of the St. Louis County Courthouse in Duluth. This location allows the option for commissioners and staff to participate by phone if they choose.

 

Citizens are recommended to not attend this or any public meeting at this time. The meeting can be viewed live on Duluth Public Access Television (PACT) and will be posted on the county's YouTube channel later in the day.
