St. Louis County Board to hold emergency meeting Wednesday, March 18

The St. Louis County Board will hold an emergency meeting tomorrow, Wednesday, March 18, at noon .The Board will consider a resolution declaring a local state of emergency. While the county has already been operating under an emergency conditions declaration, this resolution will provide County leaders maximum flexibility to act and react quickly as conditions change due to the COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic.

Additionally, commissioners will be briefed on a variety of efforts and issues related to county operations and the delivery of essential services moving forward.

The meeting will be held in the County Board conference room on the second floor of the St. Louis County Courthouse in Duluth. This location allows the option for commissioners and staff to participate by phone if they choose.

Citizens are recommended to not attend this or any public meeting at this time. Contact information for commissioners is available online at stlouiscountymng.gov/countyboard.
