Incident location: 2500 Block of West 3rd St. in Duluth.

Name:  Tristen Swanson

 

Age: 22

 

Incident Summary:

On 10/14/2019 at approximately 8:09 PM, law enforcement and EMS responded to a water emergency in the Lincoln Park neighborhood. It was reported that a group was exploring Miller Creek between West 3rd St and the St. Louis Harbor.  Triston Swanson had become separated from the group who feared he had been swept away by the creek.  The Duluth Fire Department and The St. Louis County Rescue Squad began searching the area for Triston.  Triston was ultimately located safe by a Duluth Police Officer at a friends house. It was determined that Triston had exited the creek on his own, and had never been in any danger.

 

Duluth Police, Duluth Fire, St. Louis Rescue Squad, Mayo Clinic Ambulance and St. Louis County Sheriff's Office were all on scene.
