Incident Summary:
On 8/26/2019 at approx. 14:05 hours the Duluth Police Department, Duluth Fire Department, St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, and the St. Louis County Rescue Squad were dispatched to the report of a water emergency at the Spirit Lake Marina. It was learned that an adult male was in a canoe and ended up in the water. He swam to a nearby island and was located by authorities and given a ride back to shore. It appears alcohol was a factor.
