Incident Summary:

On 8/6/2019 at approximately 2:59AM, The St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, North Star Fire Department, Canosia Fire Department, Gnesen Fire Department, Lakewood Fire Department, Clifton Fire Department, Normanna Fire Department, Pequaywan Fire Department, Rice Lake Fire Department, Two Harbors Fire Department, and Air National Guard Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 7795 Briar Lake Drive West. The fire consumed a three level house on Briar Lake causing a total loss of the home. No occupants were in the house when the fire occurred. The fire was discovered by a nearby neighbor who called 911. No injuries were caused by the fire. The cause of the fire does not appear to be of a suspicious nature but remains under investigation by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office and the MN State Fire Marshal.
