Incident Summary: On 07/24/2019, at approximately 9:21 P.M. the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office along with the MN State Patrol, Kabetogama Fire & 1st Responders, International Falls Ambulance and North Memorial Air Medical responded to a motorcycle accident with injuries in the 11000 block of the Ash River Trail near the Mead Wood Rd. (Entrance to the Ash River Visitor Center). The lone male driver was entering into a left hand curve in the roadway, when the motorcycle drove off road right.  The driver was treated at the scene by Kabetogama 1st Responders and International Falls Ambulance Service. The driver was transported by North Memorial Air Medical to Essentia Health- Duluth for further care.  The exact extent of injuries are unknown, but  they appear to be non life-threatening. Alcohol appears to be a contributing factor in the accident. The accident is under investigation by the  St. Louis County Sheriff's Office.
