Incident Summary: On July 7th, 2019 at approximately 11:15 P.M.  Saint Louis County deputies, along with East Range Police Department Officers responded to Forest Highway 11 in Bassett township for a car vs Moose crash.  17 year old Amaya NELSON was driving a Dodge Neon South bound on Forest Highway 11 when she collided with a moose that was in the roadway.  NELSON and her passenger 22 year old Remington DELINGER were both transported by the Hoyt Lakes Ambulance to Essentia-Health Northern Pines Hospital in Aurora with Non-Life Threatening injuries.
