Incident Summary: On 4/27/2019 at around 2:48 PM, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to an ATV crash in Buhl off road from Hwy 125 and Hwy 25. Upon arrival it was determined that Lavalley was driving an ATV up an old mine dump with Peterson on the back as a passenger when she realized she couldn't make it up the steep embankment so she tried to turn and flipped the 4 wheel ATV over. Peterson was taken by ambulance to the Hibbing hospital for what appears to be non-life threatening injuries. LaValley was taken by squad to Hibbing hospital for non-life threatening injuries also. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
