Incident Summary:
On 2/21/19 at 0750 hours, inmate Kenneth Kyle Beaupre collapsed in the day room area of the St. Louis County Jail/Alpha Unit. Corrections Officers, Jail Medical Staff, and First Responders performed life-saving measures but were unable to revive Beaupre. He was pronounced dead at the jail at 0845 hours. An investigator from the Midwest Medical Examiners Office responded to the scene and Beaupre was transported to their facility for Post Mortem exam. Preliminary results of the autopsy indicate that Beaupre had inflammation and infection of heart valves, infection of the lungs, and possible sepsis.
