Incident Summary:

On the morning of 1/16/19 the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office, Duluth Police Department, Duluth Fire Department, and Gold Cross Ambulance responded to the YMCA at 302 W. 1st St. in Duluth for a male that was found unresponsive in a hot tub in the pool area.

The male was identified as 32 year old Joseph Donald Robbins.

Joseph was located fully submerged and unresponsive in the hot tub by the on duty lifeguard and immediately removed from the water. Efforts to recussitate Joseph were unsuccessful.

At this time the cause of death is unknown but is not of a suspicious nature. The incident is still under investigation.
