Incident Summary: On 1/11/2019 at around 10:30 AM, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office responded to the Arrowhead Trail in Beatty Township for a report of a snowmobile crash with injuries. Upon investigation, Chad Ouverson was operating a snowmobile and was the lead sled in a group of 5 sleds on the trail. He looked back to check on the other sleds and he traveled off of the trail, striking some small trees and was thrown from his sled. Ouverson sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transferred to the Cook Hospital. The incident remains under investigation at this time.
