Incident Summary:

On December 24th, 2018 at approximately 1:00 P.M. the St. Louis County Sheriff's Department along with the St. Louis County Volunteer Rescue squad responded to the area of Springridge road in Babbitt on a report of a possible missing person.  60 year old Kenneth WILDENAUER  from Cloquet was reported missing after he did not show up for work today in Cloquet. First responders located WILDENAUER's vehicle along with a vehicle belonging to 60 year old Debbie SENARIGHI also from Cloquet parked at WILDENAUER's cabin in Babbitt.   A snowmobile belonging to WILDENAUER a 2012 Artic Cat TZ1 (1000 Engine) is missing from the cabin and it is believed that the two of them left the cabin on the snowmobile.  They were last seen together at Tanks bar in Babbitt this past Friday evening and the last known cell phone location from a cell phone ping was this past Saturday afternoon just SouthEast of Ely.  The Sheriff's Department is asking the public to contact the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office Dispatch at 218-625-3581 if they have had any contact or information in regards to WILDENAUER and SENARIGHI.

Additional Information or Update:

On December 24th, 2018 at approximately 11:30 P.M., members of the St. Louis County Rescue Squad located Debbie SENARIGHI in the water and deceased on White Iron Lake, which is located South East of Ely.

It appears that the couples snowmobile had broken through thin ice as they neared Beargrease Island.

Rescuers are still actively searching the area in attempts to locate WILDENAUER.

**UPDATE**UPDATE**  On 12/26/2018 at approx. 2:00 PM St. Louis Co. Rescue Squad members located and recovered WILDENAUER's deceased body from White Iron Lake.  His body was located submerged in the immediate vicinity of where the snowmobile had broken through the ice.
