Incident Summary: ATV vs Dirt Bike Crash

On September 9th, 2018 at approximately 2:20 PM, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office assisted by the Chisholm Police Department along with the Chisholm Ambulance Service responded to the Chisholm ATV trail near the Shannon lake Road in Balkan Township approximately 10 miles North of Chisholm for an ATV vs Dirt Bike crash.   A 13 year old male was operating a Dirt Bike eastbound and Ethan KELLY was operating an ATV westbound on the trail when they collided. The 13 year old male was transported by the Chisholm Ambulance to the Fairview Range Medical Center in Hibbing with Non-Life threatening injuries.  Kelly was not injured.  Both were wearing helmets at the time of the crash.  The crash was investigated by the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office.
