Incident Summary: On 8/21/2018 at around 6:30 PM, the St. Louis County Sheriff's Office and the St. Louis County Sheriff's Rescue Squad responded to Twin Lakes in Morse Township for a report of an 18 year old male swimmer who had sank into the lake while swimming to a floating dock.  Witnesses said he had swam out to the floating dock in the lake and back to shore with a life vest on and felt confident he could make it again out to the floating dock without a life vest.  As he reached the floating dock, he sunk into the lake and was recovered about 30 minutes later by the St. Louis County Rescue Squad using an ROV.  Life saving efforts were unsuccessful.  The incident remains under investigation and his name is being withheld until family notifications can be made.
