Incident Summary: Structure Fire:

On August 3rd, 2018 at approximately 2:50 A.M. St. Louis County Sheriff's deputies along with the Mcdavitt, Cherry, and Clinton Fire Departments responded to a structure fire located at 8560 Old Mesabe Road in Iron, Mn. The property owner who was on scene called 911 reporting that his cabin was on fire.  Upon arrival the structure was fully engulfed, and as a result of the fire the structure was a total loss.  The cabin was unoccupied at the time of the fire and there were no injuries reported.  The St. Louis County Sheriff's Department along with the Minnesota Fire Marshal are investigating the fire.
